John Kimball Westbrook “Visions in Stone”
John Kimball Westbrook has a rich Southwestern Native American ancestry dating back to 1847. His work has been exhibited nationally for the past thirty-five years as well as being in public & private collections throughout the United States. He is also recognized by the prestigious Cowboy Artists of America. Many of the sculptures from “Visions in Stone” are exquisite colorful compositions combining indigenous stones and marbles from a tribe’s homeland. Other sculptures create their powerful drama using one stone’s monochromatic palette, carving to various depths of colorations using veins of a particular stone to create details and adornments for the piece.
